Doon Group of Colleges offers a two-year Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Biochemistry. The program is designed to provide thorough knowledge and practical skills related to biochemistry and its applications in various fields such as medicine, pharmacy, and agriculture.
The M.Sc. Biochemistry curriculum is structured to cover all important aspects of biochemistry such as biomolecules, metabolism, enzymology, genetics, and molecular biology. The program comprises theory lectures, practical sessions, and research projects.
The course covers various subjects such as Biochemical techniques, Bioinformatics and Drug Designing, Clinical Biochemistry, Biostatistics and Research Methodology, and Plant Biochemistry.
To be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Biochemistry program, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are based on Entrance Exam merit and Personal Interview conducted by the college.
