Doon Group of Colleges offers a two-year Master in Physiotherapy (MPT) program in Ortho/Neuro specialization. The program is designed to impart in-depth knowledge and skills related to physical therapy for orthopedic and neurological conditions.
The MPT Ortho-Neuro curriculum is structured to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic and neurological illnesses. The course comprises theory lectures, practical demonstrations, and clinical postings.
The important subjects covered in the MPT Ortho-Neuro program include Biomechanics, Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment Techniques, Neuro-muscular Rehabilitation, Clinical Physiotherapy, Research Methodology, and Health Promotion & Prevention.
To be eligible for the MPT Ortho-Neuro program, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. Admissions are based on Entrance Exam merit and Personal Interview conducted by the college.
