Dehradun is the Capital of the Uttrakhand. This beautiful city lies in the foothills of the beautiful Mussoorie. Mussorie is very famous for its educational institutes, beautiful water springs, ancient temples, and completely fresh environment. Dehradun is famous by the name of Dev Bhumi. Apart from this the other names which is famous like Dron Nagri and Doon Valley etc. Dehradun is made up of two words Dehra + doon. Dehra means home whereas doon is known as valley.

This beautiful city is located in the mountains and the Doon Valley is situated between the two holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna.Dehradun is renowned for its scenic beauty and favorable climate, serving as a gateway to the adjacent Garhwal Himalayan region. Dehradun is conveniently located approximately one hour’s drive from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Saharanpur, and Ponta Sahib.

The climate remains pleasant and calm throughout the year. During summers, the thermometer reaches up to 350c-380c whereas in winters the mercury touches up to 150c-200c with occasional rainfall.
