Doon College of Pharmacy

Doon College of Pharmacy is an institute devoted to pharmaceutical education excellence and to producing knowledgeable, competent, and moral pharmacists. The institution was founded in the year 2024 with the goal of supporting India’s expanding healthcare industry. It provides a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) program that is accredited by the Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated with the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.

An experienced and skilled teaching team teaches the D. Pharma program, which emphasises practical skill development, industry exposure, and interactive learning. Pharmaceutical sciences, drug formulation, pharmacology, hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, and pharmaceutical law are among the subjects in which students receive training.

The college also provides workshops, industrial visits, internship opportunities, and personality-building programs to support holistic development. Our solid industry ties enable students to obtain practical experience and get ready for lucrative opportunities in pharmaceutical firms, hospitals, community pharmacies, and healthcare organisations.

Program Offered:

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)

It is a two-year full-time program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in pharmacy education. The course is divided into two years: the first year focuses on fundamental pharmacy concepts, while the second year builds on advanced topics and includes practical training. After completing the second year, students gain hands-on experience through 500 hours of training at a PCI-approved hospital or community pharmacy over a period of at least three months.

The program is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and affiliated with UBTER. To be eligible, students must have completed 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics, meeting the minimum percentage requirements set by PCI or the State Board. Admissions are conducted based on merit or entrance exams, depending on the guidelines, ensuring that students with a passion for pharmacy have the opportunity to pursue this rewarding career.
