The Department of Chemistry offers a postgraduate program in Chemistry. DCAST’s Department of Chemistry boasts a dynamic research initiative that encompasses all leading areas of study. Our faculty members engage in the synthesis, examination of properties, and theoretical exploration of matter at the molecular level. We are equipped with advanced instruments necessary for conducting cutting-edge scientific research, and our findings are published in peer-reviewed journals. The Department features well-equipped laboratories specializing in analytical and inorganic chemistry, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, adsorption studies, electrochemistry, high-pressure chemistry, surface chemistry, organic chemistry, and photochemistry. In recent years, new facilities have been established in additional fields, including biochemistry, chemical kinetics, organometallic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and solid-state and structural chemistry. Furthermore, the Department has recently inaugurated a computational laboratory.
